BAYLIS are pleased to announce the release of a firmware update which tackles a number of issues discovered after the release of our Eco Media Player. This new firmware update also adds new functionality to your Eco Media Player!

We would recommend that all users of EP-MX71 Eco Media Player download and install this Firmware.

This fantastic update offers the following changes:

Updating your player is a simple process that requires the use of the "RDiskUpdate" utility as supplied on the Utilities CD disk that came with your player. (A copy of which may also be downloaded from the Support Page for the media player accessible from the menu on the left)

Make sure you read fully the ‘readme’ text file accompanying the firmware download for full instructions and functions.

The Firmware file is intended for upgrading the early players that were fitted with version 9.1.52.

Please check your player’s System Settings > Firmware Version.

If it shows as version 9.1.53 there is no need to take any further action - you already have the current system.
If it shows as an earlier version please continue with download by right-clicking here. Then choose “Save target as...” to save the download to your local PC hard drive. Than unzip the downloaded zip file to expose the upgrade files.
